Justin Nathanial Cutright

Justin Nathanial Cutright is my son who I am proud to say was also my bestfriend in life. Justin 'JJ' was 20 years old, and worked at Ramsey-Waite as a motorcycle/atv Salesman, in Springfield Oregon. He lived just down the street from me, on 66th and Main Street, and died in a horribly violent motorcycle crash just blocks from where we both live.

He hit a car on 58th and Main Street, his body flew off his bike, his helmet came off from the brutal force of the hit, and he landed in the Burger King parking lot where he met his demise, from severe head trauma. :( I have to drive past that Burger King ALMOST EVERYDAY just to go see my sister Regina or to see my boy's grave and spend a quiet moment with him...which I try not to do very often, as it is too hard on me.

JJ was buried on December 14th, nine days after his death. He could have been buried 3 days after his death but I couldn't get myself to rush his burial along... it hurt so bad. :( He is buried at the Springfield Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetary, on 73rd and Main Street in Springfield Oregon.

A brief insight into who Justin 'JJ' Cutright was:

JJ was such an awesome kid all his life, so full of personality, love, intelligence and had enough energy for 5 people. Everyone who became friends with Justin loved him dearly. His presence, his charisma, his charm, and his smile eminated and bounced off every wall around him. People who did not really know JJ but had met him have said "I didn't know him but there was something special about JJ that made me want to know him more".

JJ was a walking comedy show.. he could make ANYONE laugh, even the grumpiest person. He made the greatest rubbery faces and moved his body in such a way that you could not help but die laughin. He was my personal comedian everyday, and now the laughter has stopped..:( He was a piece of sunshine in my life where now only a cloud remains..

JJ was my BESTfriend..him and I went through the worst and best times of our lives together..from loss, to falling in love, to heartbreak, to major decision making..him and I stuck together through it all and made it! Just when nobody was there for me, I could always count on my JJ to be there, and he always was. I miss that.

JJ was becoming a success in his life, had started college, was making great money as an awesome young salesman, was getting married this past March and was to become a Father on April 19th, 2007. His babygirl was born on April 18th, and she will never know the great man her Daddy was, and the sorrow that fills me is just too much to describe. :(

JJ was such a Mentor to his little brother Alex (14 yrs old) and such an awesome and loving big bro to his little sister Aurora (3 yrs old).. I could see what an incredible Daddy he was going to be just by watching him with his siblings. He was an incredible brother and his siblings are just devastated without him in their lives.

Knowing he will never hold or kiss his little girl is a huge heartbreak for me, but I will hold and kiss her double just to make up for it the best I can as her Grandmother and JJ's Momma.

JJ loved his Momma, and he let the whole world know it. I am so proud of this. To be considered his bestfriend is something not many Mom's get to experience with their own children, so I am very fortunate. Our relationship was the greatest ever and I wish more parents had that kind of connection with their children.

JJ will be missed for his smile, his charming demeanor, his quality character, his personality, his awesome taste in clothes, cars, and music! He will also be missed for his big hearted ways, his compassion for others, his upbeat attitude even when he was feeling down, his sense of humor, his natural ability to make others fall in love with him, accidentally and His love for his family and friends, and his loyalty to them all.

JJ was a great man, and I will miss him more then I can ever explain..:( and so will so many others that he has touched. Rest In Peace my baby boy..Momma loves you so much. See you when I get there.
